Vagina monologues; monologues that relate to the private parts of a female. Some funny, some sexy, some negative. Don't worry men, you can watch this play too, it's highly recommended. 
Sex can be pretty amusing and this is demonstrated in the collection of highly original stories gathered by the show's dynamic creator, New Yorker, Eve Ensler. Ensler asked over 200 women of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and walks of life to share their most intimate secrets in ”vagina interviews“ on such normally taboo topics as birth, sex, orgasms and relationships with truly revelatory results.
The cast this time round consists of a load of soap stars attempting to show that they can actually act, Nikki Sanderson (Coronation street, Heartbeat), Roxanne Pallett (Emmerdale) and Sue Jenkins (Brookside). 
Every performance of The Vagina Monologues donates a portion of ticket sales to the V-day fund, an organisation that provides charitable aid to women and girls who have been victims of abuse and violence.
The show is off on a mammoth 73-date UK tour from 14th September to 4th December. Go see it, enter the vagina.
