Splinter Cell Double Agent Comp
Top trainer takes on head gamer
Fancy looking like Sam Fisher, the lead hard man of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell@video games?
Well, now you can. Oliver Mansfield, a fitness trainer, CHEK practitioner (Corrective High Performance Exercise Kinesiology) and self confessed fan of Sam Fisher’s buffed up looks gets to have a sneaky preview of the Splinter Cell game and reckons he can get you looking like the formidable opponent by adopting just a few cunning techniques. Mansfield, 25, who additionally holds a Masters in Active Sports Massage, believes its all about maintaining a healthy mind as well as a balanced body.
Sam Fisher has a lean look with long stomach, lifted chest and impressive stature. Squats and Shoulder presses would have got him this way, but that’s not all you need. Many of us spend much of the day in front of computers, so Mansfield suggests sitting up on the chair without using the back rest, whilst lifting the chest and drawing the shoulders back. This instantly gives a lift and allows for a proper oxygen supply to reach the lungs and stimulate the brain, giving you a faster reaction speed on the old computer game and getting you in better spirits for the physical exercise once you do hit the gym. “Just making these simple changes will make a real difference, ensuring that you will be able to accomplish your missions – just like Sam Fisher” Mansfield says.
