Pitcher and Piano

Drunk from one pitcher and you've drunk from them all. But this bar's fantastic riverside location singles it out from the rest of its branch buddies. On sunny days bask by the large upstairs windows with a cold – but not so cheap – beer; during the winter get a bird's–eye view of the river bursting its banks. It's baffling though why there's no outside seating, as standing about on the balcony can become hard work after a while. There's a great bar menu, but as it gets so busy it might be best to avoid sit–down meals. Opt instead for sharers to nibble with friends.
