Victor J's
Surprisingly unpretentious art bar, where the bright décor is the loudest thing about it. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate complimented by monthly changing local artwork. You can bring in your own daubings and they'll exhibit them for the diners or politely tell you to start watching Watercolour Challenge more closely. Does attract the odd Bohemian type gesticulating over a Budvar in the mural covered courtyard. But other than that it's perfect for anyone wanting a vitamin–laden smoothie or a spot–on snack. The reasonably priced menu and generous portions mean you'll never be tempted by the dodgy burger vans down the road ever again. Well, not until you're next completely trolleyed.
