Independent bar which has overdosed on Cif. Kennedy's is so bloody clean that you don't know where to put yourself half the time for fear of dirtying the place up. The food's worth stopping off for, and is popular with York's older shoppers during the day, who are replaced by some of the city's better dressed drinkers in the evening. The kind of place where you can relax over a bottle of wine and mull over what exactly could make the place better; atmosphere and individuality is as far as we got last time...
