Part of the Yates's chain, but with a sizeable dollop of class, Ha! Ha! makes a change from the old man pubs and the snog–a–slapper Micklegate bars York specialises in. Not the cheapest drinking hole in the city, but good at what it does and perfect for a relaxed cappuccino/fried breakfast and browse of The Sun before a heady afternoon's shopping.
