The Willow

Would I eat here? Not for all the tea in China - boom boom! -. Although the Schezuan chicken may not be much to write home about, The Willow is almost as much of a legend-in-its-own-living-room as Betty's. A postage stamp-sized dancefloor and late opening hours have, over the years, attracted a regular crowd willing to go through the motions of a minimal meal simply in order to hammer the bar after the pubs have shut. You can request old Blondie tunes, watch waitresses weave between hen parties in 'hilarious' get-ups and generally get completely ratted. If you're wondering why I haven't described any of the food, then you're missing the point.
