El Piano
This place is part of a chain, but don't be put off. The rest of the chain is IN SPAIN, which is surely a good sign for a tapas place. The menu is totally veggie, with lots of vegan and gluten-free options, but it's all so tasty that meat-lovers won't even notice the lack of flesh. If you haven't got time for a sit down supper, grab something from their Wrapido Window (their pun not ours...) El Piano, York turned 13 in March 2011 - a sure sign they're doing many things right.

Bob and James cook tapas in our courtyard in the style of the Great Juda. Enjoy a Granada atmosphere of good drink accompanied by FREE tapas 6pm-9pm. Plus - Students enjoy an extra 10% discount off any desserts during Friday's tapas events.

Kids draw Sapin
Bring the family and have the youngsters “draw Spain” with Elena in the Barn in the courtyard while you have a quiet few minutes. Open 12 noon - 5pm. The art is displayed all month with winners’ prizes at the end of the month.
