House of the Trembling Madness

A tucked-away-above-a-booze-shop-type of establishment House of the Trembling Madness is a place where delicious but exotically impossible to pronounce beverages normally induce panic in me. The food, however, has easy names like 'pie' and 'sausage' and is always fantastic. In the small space it fulfils the multifarious roles of filling your tummy and warming your cockles. It's a spit and sawdust place with a healthy absence of the spit and sawdust and there's probably nothing trembling or mad about it – unless you count me in the corner rehearsing the names of the beers to myself – but it is rather jolly.
