The Habit
We first visited The Habit when looking for food and shelter on a rainy
day, and instantly loved the atmosphere. The upstairs area is a
brilliant place to unwind, with its sofas and great food and, the part
we loved the most, the wall that runs the whole length with writing and
drawings of little kooky quotes and poems in all different colours and
styles. We then returned one night for an acoustic gig; a frequent
occasion at The Habit, and the atmosphere was even more electric at
night. The small space means there are only a few people huddled
together with their very reasonably priced drinks and the singer (Mark
Wynn on this particular night, definitely one to look out for!) is so
close to the audience that he spoke to us as if we were friends. A
brilliant place to eat, drink, and meet some great new people.
