The Blue Bicycle is a fine French eatery that was famously once a brothel. Despite downstairs resembling a Parisian madam's boudoir, resist the temptation to invite any of the staff for a friendly tumble –satisfy yourself with something saucy off the menu instead. Although predominantly seafood, there's some fine meat and poultry dishes, and they're all accompanied by dinky little touches, such as mini bread loaves served in flower pots. The decor is fantastic and farmhousey, and the welcome warm without being false. Although a bit pricey, after a visit your chances of a snog are greatly improved –not only because it's a cracking little bistro, but because you'll both hum of garlic and there'll be bugger all chances of anyone else being interested.
