Visited the Masons arms this summer in the hope of a nice dinner with my other half but I left after I was told that I would have to pay to have water with my dinner and my pint. It's not much to ask for on a hot summer's day and I really resented the rude response I received from the landlord when I e-mailed him to complain. A good business listens to feedback, both positive and negative. A bad business insults its customers! Don't bother.

Have stayed at the Mason's Arms many times now with my husband and with my friends when shopping and have always found it a pleasurable experience. Clean rooms, free parking and close by is another added bonus. The staff have always been helpful and polite even when very busy as they are very often because the food is so good. fantastic, friendly place to stay.
