Those clever town planners –they persuaded large electrical stores and American fast food chains that they could control the Sunday afternoons of the nation – and increase profits ten fold – by clubbing together in a giant car park. And thanks to our foolishness we lapped the whole thing up and they got away with it. The Allders, Tesco, Currys and B&Q stores are good for those all–important paprika, foot spa and trowel purchases; Netto, Poundstretcher, and What Everyone Wants are good for giving you carrier bags other people will mock you for. The park's inclusion of a cinema means you can slope off whilst your other half is comparing tumble dryers, returning two hours later claiming to have been waiting by the curling tongs all along.
