It's about time York got some decent bars, and Nexus is leading the field. After a million quid refurb on the old Merlin's, comes a bar with an added floor, state of the art air conditioning, larger bar area, Italian imported furniture, brand new sound system and a wierdly electronic DJ stand. Nice.

Agree the place really needs a clean - very very bad smell of sick on entering the club! Why oh why is it we pay the prices for drinks and entry etc, and they cant keep up on a simple thing like hygiene? Really something needs to be done. They should spend some of their profits and give the Joe Public something back. As for the Reflex sound system, it is way below standard - absolute crap place, and filthy too. How do they get passed by health and hygiene?
